GO OVER THE CASE
Read through the case file and get to know the story rich characters. Each mystery is a fully immersive case file including photographs, interviews, a newspaper and other items.

WORK THROUGH OBJECTIVES
Each case comes with a series of objectives that guide you through the story. It is your job to link the clues together and determine who the murderer is.

After solving the final objective, you'll close the case and put the murderer behind bars where they belong - proving once and for all that you are a genuine Sherlock Holmes!

This was a tricky one and we didn't crack the case but it was still a lot of fun. Would be great to see some virtual AI personas for interviews in future cases if possible.

This one was not great. We bought it to take away with us on a long haul flight and revisited it when we got home. The 'solution' was a little lame and ambiguous and just wasnt our favourite.

We had lots of fun being detectives for the night. There was so much information and details. I Loved that it then linked to the QR code and we were able to put in our answers there. My only disappointment would be for all the information provided there should be more than 3 steps at least 5. Loved the quality of the packaging and all the information sheets. Thanks!

Really great idea and a huge amount of fun
Good attempt but didn't really work for us. it was too hard! We spent time trying to do it but reverted to getting the answers and trying to move on to next stage. I'm an engineer and wife is a teacher so we probably should have done better :)
I was really looking forward to the game, but unfortunately was left disappointed.
When you go to make a guess, it only gives you the choice for a few options for 'where did you find the answer/clue', meaning that if you got it wrong, you know that its not one of these other 3 things.
The clues aren't really explained either. It's a 'yes you got this right' but doesn't go into detail to say how?
I've played 'unsolved case files' before, which were only $25 and much more challenging. They also were mixed media, with websites on business card clues being real sites, QR codes on documents being scannable, making it more exciting, involved, and fun. For $40 this one was a big letdown.
Really interesting and fun
We found it great, for the level it took us x3 an hour to work through. Enjoyed it also discussed that these would be great for organisations - team building.
This was our 2nd case file and the group consensus was we loved it more than the first! Lots of cross referencing between “evidence” made it fun. Great activity for our family holiday, with adults ranging from 18-70

How long do they take?
Most of our detective games take around 1 to 2 hours to solve — perfect for a date night or an evening in with friends. Some teams race through faster, others take their time following every lead. There’s no rush — the case is closed when you say it is.
How many people can play?
You can play with anywhere from 1 to 8 players. They’re great for a solo sleuth, date night duo, or a full group of friends. We recommend 2–6 players for the best experience — enough brains to crack the case, without everyone fighting over the evidence.
Is there an age limit?
Our games are designed for ages 13 and up, since they include crime themes and murder investigations. Younger players can still join in with some guidance — but the mysteries are definitely made for teens and adults who love a good challenge.
Can it be passed on as a gift?
Absolutely! Each game is single-use, but once you’ve solved the case, you can pass it on to friends or family to enjoy. Just make sure all the evidence is neatly packed back into the case file — no spoilers left behind!
Do I need internet to play?
Most of our games can be played completely offline, but they all include an online answer key if you want a little help. Tasmanian Terror is the exception — it includes a digital clue that requires internet access, so maybe don’t take that one camping!
